I have been a Christian for most of my life. I have been divorced for 17 years, and really am looking to explore what is out there in terms of Christian gay men. Clearly in most mainstream churches there are few or no opportunities to meet gay Christian men. I have been looking and dating men that I have met on secular sites, and even though some claim to have beliefs in God, I think most have been hurt by the church or not so well meaning christians. So connecting gay and Christianity is difficult at best. I recently joined a United Methodist Church which is open to gay people. I am not out yet, because this is relatively new, and I want to be sure what I am coming out of before I tell the world. I have a couple of straight friends that know what I am doing and that is good enough for right now.
