I am a compassionate, caring and sensitive person. I think the most enduring attribute about me is patience. We, in the gay community need to be more supportive and merciful to each other. I try to practice this. The little things matter most, like a smile, a hug or a solid handshake. People are more important to me than things. I am idealist. I fight for the underdog. Ideas like justice, compassion, truth and fairness resonate with me. I am dedicated Christian, have an active prayer life and working as a crisis counselor. I am called to be a pastor, but it has been a slow process in coming out. I am now working towards ordination in a gay affirming denomination. I am far from perfect but strive to be a whole and happy individual. I had some trauma in my early childhood, but have worked through the pain and have experienced significant healing. I made some poor choices in my life, but this has made me both sensitive to others and strong. Let’s face it fellows, we all have had trauma, failures, and disappointments.
