Hello. My opinion is that many of us, at times confuse love with infatuation, lust or simply being swept off of our feet by what we see, or what we would like to believe is love. We have all confused love 10 times or another. I would say you really have to be careful and considerate of the potential negative outcomes it may bring upon the pastors son, the pastor himself and of course you. Realize if you have not already, that if you know for sure that the pastors son is not gay and may be involved in some other relationship...you would not want to be a distraction to that or even mess with the friendship that the2 of you have. Possibly, his kindness and friendship is what makes you "love" him and also brings out that desire in you to love and to want to be loved. I would say, cherish the friendship, keep it balanced but look at the good it is to have him in your life and avoid burning that relationship you already have. Trust and wait on God...if He is to invite a new kind of relationship in your life. I know it may be difficult, but hold on. Be blessed.

absolutly agree.so many decent guys out there,why even give a second glance to someone unavailable.Don't cause yourself grief.fyi,being a gay guy that stares at straights is so stereotype,gives us all a bad name.I'm also sure the pastor wouldn't be too happy.I was in a relationship for 4 yrs with1 til recently.

Hey mate that is a great reply. I am going through a relationship change of 12 years and it is kiling me. Because I still love this guy so much and have given him so much. I had to learn to trust him but now he is wanting to move on. My mind is playing havoc. Love to meet someone like you to chat with. I am 59 however am always with younger people and look and act a lot youngr. Love to hear from you.
